The Fiji Times has exposed another $9m scam in the Qarase regime. The paper reports today that over $9m has been misused by the Agriculture ministry. The Agriculture ministry his headed by Apisai Tora. Tora was a active with those who terrorised Suva city. It is believed that the scam also involves civil servants who used to sign local purchase orders for purchases from retail outlets. The Ministry of Finance has started investigating the scam. |
