CCF office ransacked

Issue No: 732; 7 May 2001

The office of the Citizens Constitutional Forum was vandalised last week. No one has been arrested yet. It is believed that there was no evidence of forced entry. The only possible explanation for this is that the job was that of a professional.

Expertise for such jobs was present with the Fiji Intelligence Service which has been disbanded. But members of the unit are still around with some opting to join the terrorists.

Last week the pro-terrorist SVT party had obtained printouts of email messages between the CCF office and its Board Members.

The CCF has been leading a vigorous campaign for democracy and constitutionality in the country.
