Three more persons have been investigated for the terrorist activities of last year.

The three are Tavueni chief Ratu Epeli Kanaimawi, SVT leader Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, and George Speight's President Ratu Jope Seniloli.

According to media reports, the police department has confirmed that Taveuni chief, Ratu Epeli Kanaimawi has been investigated regarding the parliament takeover. The file will soon be forwarded to the DPP. Police also confirms that the SVT leader and present regime's Information Minister, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, has also been investigated and the investigations are complete. The files are being compiled for submission to the DPP's office.

Ratu Jope Seniloli's file is already with the Prosecution Office.
The media also reports that some files regarding the alleged coup planners have reached the DPP's office. But the DPP's office has yet to decide whether to charge them.

Kanaimawi was appointed by the Great Council of Chiefs as one of the negotiators with the terrorists. Later he made a bid to become the Prime Minister. Seniloli was sworn in by Speight as the President of Fiji a day after the terrorists took the government hostage. Later he was made the Interim vice-President by the Great Council of Chiefs. This position was confirmed by the GCC in March this year. Kubuabola was a key person behind the terrorists. On Saturday 20 May, the terrorists had informed the hostages that Kubuabola was responsible for the security of the hostages.
