Arson in Ah Koy Building Fire

Police and fire investigators have discovered evidences of arson in the fire which destroyed the building housing the Discount Traders store in Suva. The building is owned by the family company of former/SVT Finance Minister Jim Ah Koy.

Yesterday it was revealed that the fire had a trail of ignition using cartons which led to a tyre. The tyre provided the centre for the fire to spread.

Ah Koy's financial empire has been collapsing during the recent days.
